There was once a time when the film poster held as much artistic value as the film itself. Cool artistic painting's that made the cinephile in most drool over anticipation as to what was in store for them as they entered the movie theater. But nowadays all you need is a good head shot of the main actor or actors and... abra cadabra.... you have the modern film poster!

Look at this piece of shit poster! Were the fuck is the advertisment in this!? Why is this called The Kid? Is this about Bruce Willis smiling like some ass bag or is he a peodophile?

Alright ive vented enough about the douche-baggery in most of the modern film poster. And truth be told, not all current film poster suck, but 90% really do. It wasnt that long ago when the studios employed real artist's to advertise their films so that the advertisment was as cool as the film. Sometime the poster was even better. And this is were this blog of mine comes in. Iam always on the hunt for awsome jpegs of film posters. I have a pretty decent collection of them so far. My goal is to try posting posters of a high resolution quality for the most part, but its not always going to be the case. So i hope there are those out there that appreciate them as much as i do.
